Rain, Rain Go Away Come Again Another Month

I think in the months of June and July we had only 5 days that it did not rain. I don't mean those little sprinkles, I mean deluges. About 24 inches for 2 months, that is a lot folks. On the map, the weather service says we received 23.23 inches. We are to the northwest of Jersey Village.

A Few Finished Objects

Here are a couple of finished projects. The baby afghan was done for a baby who is the first girl in three generations. The other one is a bath tub toy done on the embroidery machine. It is made out of terry cloth and stuffed with tulle that the pieces sort of float.

Dog Days of Summer

I have been busy getting everything ready for my downstream pal. Here's the dishcloth I knitted. I've got lots more goodies that I will post after she gets the package.

Tisket a tasket a big basket of yarn

I was trying to organize my yarn. LOL I laid out all my STR and then put them in a basket. Don't they look nice.
